Excellent thoughts Claudio. Whilst I strongly support the focus on rights, an equal emphasis on responsibilities is needed to create an environment in which those rights can be exercised.

An example to illustrate this point.  As a driver you have the right to drive on the road at the prescribed speed limit provide you drive on the correct side of the road.  Driving on the wrong side of the road destroys everyone else's rights.
