Medical and Acturial Research Foundation - Zimbabwe
The ZimRe Medical and Actuarial Research Foundation was launched on 1 August 1996 by the Board of the Zimbabwe Reinsurance Corporation (ZIMRE) to promote medical and actuarial research. The setting up of the Foundation is another example of ZimRe's commitment to give something back to the community within which it operates. The Foundation is administered by a nine member Board of Trustees appointed by the ZimRe Board of Directors. The current Board of Trustees is chaired by Dr. Stephen Chandiwana and the other Trustees are: Professor H. Chinyanga, Professor L. Ndlovu, Mrs S. Mugugu, Dr. V. Mlambo, Professor N. Z. Nyazema, Dr E. Pangeti, Dr A. Sibanda and Professor S.A. Tswana, all professionals in their particular fields.
